We love this new vibrant addition to our collection! Our sisters Bridget and Carola are having a lot of fun designing and embroidering these. They are making all unique with one-of-a-kind floral or berry patterns. This is the first time we've seen pirri-pirri embroidered. A little berry that packs a punch, and is traditionally given to young girls so that they will learn to see patterns in their dreams.

These kimonos are 100% linnen.

The Red Kimono
A bold expression of vitality and protection. Our Kimonos are designed as versatile, "one-size-fits-all" wrap pieces that drape elegantly over any silhouette.

The vibrant red hue is a tribute to the life-force of the forest, providing a striking canvas for the intricate Kené embroidery.

The Material & Cut
The Fabric: A premium 50/50 Cotton-Linen blend, offering the soft structure of cotton with the cool, breathable drape of linen.

The Silhouette: A relaxed, wrap-around design that can be worn open and flowing or cinched for a more defined shape.

The Length: Designed with a shoulder-to-waist measurement of 44–46 cm, resting perfectly at the natural waist to complement high-waisted trousers or our traditional skirts.

The Red Kimono
There is a specific energy in this red—it’s the color of Achiote and the pulsing heart of the forest. We chose a 50/50 cotton-linen blend for these pieces because it has a beautiful, substantial weight that still allows the skin to breathe.

Because these are designed as a wrap-around, one-size-fits-all silhouette, they are incredibly versatile. You can cinch them to define your waist or wear them open and flowing as a statement layer.

The Artistry: I wanted the embroidery to tell a balanced story. On the back, you’ll find a bold Kené—the traditional geometric map of the Shipibo-Konibo. The front is a softer tribute to our garden, featuring medicinal flowers hand-stitched with the same care as the plants themselves.

The Fit: With a length of 44–46 cm from shoulder to waist, it rests elegantly at the natural waistline, making it easy to layer without feeling heavy.
